This was my first real game of significant scope that I attempted to do for the most part by myself. I had always wanted to create a game around this general concept, but lacked the design, technical, and artistic experience at the time to make it a success. Here lies what remains.
Through this project I learned a huge amount about what it takes to both start and keep a project like this running, the traps that are easily fell into, and the importance of planning (and the consequences of a lack of).
Most of the lessons learned and general development rigour gained were instrumental in me now being capable of getting my subsquent game of a similarly ridiculous scale, Dungeonz, to the point where I always wanted this one to be, and more.
